My Big Fat Fabulous Life: Whitney Thore Heads to Spain for 40th Birthday
Whitney Thore is in the south of Spain with her friends and family, celebrating her 40th birthday. Her past birthdays haven’t been ideal. So, she is determined to make this birthday a special one.
The My Big Fat Fabulous Life reality star decides to get into the spirit and go Flamenco dress shopping. However, at her size, she knows that it will be hard to find something that fits her. Yet, she is shocked when she finds a black and white polka dot dress that may fit her.
Whitney tries on the dress and notices it is a little big and long. She laughs and says she has never “tried on something too big.” However, she is happy when the saleswoman tells her she can alter it to her size.
Whitney Finds Perfect Spanish Dress
Whitney feels that the dress “is everything.” She explains that it is a traditional Flamenco dress with polka dots and ruffles in the sleeves. She even does a little spin to show off the dress’s flare.
The My Big Fat Fabulous Life cast member feels it is “some birthday luck.” She thinks it’s “amazing” that she found a dress in her size. She admits to feeling beautiful wearing it. So, she is “so happy.”
Whitney explains that she feels she is on the show Say Yes to the Dress. She is saying yes to getting the Flamenco dress, but will she have a special occasion to wear it?

Whitney Thore is spicing up her birthday trip by hitting the dating apps while in Spain. She has already found someone she connects with. She has been talking to a man named Juan. He has even sent her pictures of his cat.
The My Big Fat Fabulous Life castmate gets a surprise phone call from her Spainsih fling. She answers the phone. Juan tells her that he wants to meet her. He asks if she wants to meet him. He wants her to let him know when she has some free time to meet him. He adds that they can decide then where they can go.
Juan also surprises Whitney by telling her he can bring his cat when they meet. She tells him that she loves cats and that she will take them any way she can. But she quickly realizes how ridiculous she sounds. So, she starts to laugh, tells him she looks forward to meeting him and hangs up.
