Digging a bit deeper it, however, appears as if this is only happening on one of her social media profiles. What exactly is going on?
Is Mama June Shannon Blatantly Censoring Her Fans?
In a thread on Reddit, one fan admits they made the recent decision to head over to Mama June’s Tiktok and take a look around. They recalled clicking on the sixth video. It was a video of Mama June Shannon eating while calling her husband a “fat a**.” The fan admitted it felt like Mama June was eating and spewing rude words in nearly every video they clicked on.
What really surprised this fan, however, was the comments on Mama June’s TikTok. No one was criticizing her eating on camera. And, no one was criticizing her for calling her husband a name. Moreover. no one had anything to say about her overall rude demeanor.
Another fan chimed in and speculated that people don’t leave negative comments for fear of getting blocked. Another fan added that people probably do leave negative comments and she just deletes them. A few other fans chime in that they can head over to Instagram to see comments on how people really feel about Mama June.
TikTok Does Have A Filtering Setting
Now, most fans don’t believe Mama June sits on her phone and takes the time to mass delete the negative comments. So, how does she get rid of them? One theory is that she has someone else get on her account and manage comments.
A more likely theory, however, is that she takes advantage of the TikTok filter system. TikTok has settings in place where a creator can filter certain words and block them from appearing as comments. Fans speculate Mama June likely uses this filter to keep her TikTok videos free of any comments. Here’s some of what fans had to say:
