Mama June Shannon, in a moment of heartrending reflection, demonstrated the unique tribute she has for her late daughter Anna Cardwell – a bracelet that holds Anna’s ashes.
The star of reality TV successfully mended her strained ties with ‘Chickadee’, as her daughter Anna was affectionately known, prior to Anna’s tragic demise at just 29 years old. Mama June is now sharing the poignant way she preserves her daughter’s memory alive and how she’s coping.
Speaking with People magazine, She confessed: “We very much still today, even six months later, keep her memory alive, For me, I personally have to talk about it all the time. She’s actually here with us today.”

As she gestured towards her charm bracelet, she expressed: “She’s here. I always tote her around. That was her thing, that she wanted to be cremated and toted around, so I’m like, ‘Okay, let’s go, girl.”
Mama June flaunted her substantial weight loss after her daughter’s painful passing. Donning a stunning blue dress, she looked remarkable following an awesome 21-stone weight loss from gastric sleeve surgery.
At a previous weight of 33 stone, Mama June revealed her slim figure in the lengthy attire.
Mama June radiantly smiled in a picture while staying strong through the distressing loss of her daughter. Anna had been diagnosed with stage 4 adrenal cancer in January and sadly passed away at home on December 9, as announced by her mom.
Anna had been estranged from June since 2003, but the pair reunited following Anna’s diagnosis. Mama June managed to mend her broken relationship with her daughter Anna ‘Chickadee’ Cardwell in the months leading up to her untimely death at just 29.
After residing with her grandmother for several years, Anna moved back in with her mom in 2012, but their reunion was short-lived. The mother-daughter duo had been estranged for six years before reuniting earlier this year.

Anna and June have had a tense relationship ever since Anna left the family home in 2003 to live with her grandmother. She claimed that she had been assaulted by her mother’s then-boyfriend, registered sex offender Mark McDaniel.
In 2014, Anna revealed that McDaniel would “try and touch me and all that stuff” when she was merely eight years old. “A week or so after it happened, I talked to Mama and she was upset, crying and saying, ‘I don’t believe you, I don’t believe you, why would you do this to me? ‘” Anna disclosed to People in 2014.
Anna confronted her mom about what McDaniel had done and said: “I can’t do anything about it. You were never there to see it. You were always at work.”
After living with her grandmother for nine years, Anna returned to her mom’s home in 2012 ahead of the premiere for Here Comes Honey Boo Boo. At the time, she explained they realized they needed to “put this behind us” and repair their relationship.
