EastEnders spoilers follow.
Tommy Moon will continue to struggle following Alfie Moon’s temporary departure in EastEnders.
Alfie recently left the Square for a two-week management training course in Birmingham before taking over as the new manager of the Minute Mart.
Kat Slater convinced Alfie to go for the training course, despite his concerns about leaving Tommy alone with his mother. The two have clashed this year, with Tommy even punching Kat during one row.
In scenes airing next week, Kat tries to hold the family together in Alfie’s absence. Tommy is shown brooding once again since Alfie will miss their football plans.
Kat assures Tommy that Alfie isn’t intentionally slighting him — he’s simply trying to make the best of the job opportunity Tommy encouraged him to go for.
