Rafe Hernandez, portrayed by Galen Gering, has been in a coma since July due to Connie’s scheme. While Jada and Gabi have been unable to rouse him, Paulina will finally bring him back to consciousness. She will forcefully command him to open his eyes.
Once awake, Rafe will have much to catch up on, especially regarding Everett’s confession and death. This could reignite doubts about the case and stir new trouble in Salem. He may soon resume his role as Salem’s police commissioner once fully recovered. Speaking of Gering, he is the only actor to have played Rafe since its introduction in 2008.
