Mama June Josh Efird New Relationship Over, What Happened?

After Pumpkin and Josh Efird filed for divorce on August 1st, 2024, things came out that followers were not ready for. It was alleged that Pumpkin had been cheating on Josh for some time. Furthermore, she had been rumored to be having an affair with his cousin, Darrin Kitchens. This apparently started right after their grandmother passed away in April 2024 and this was the straw that broke the camel’s back. Despite this, Pumpkin maintained she and Josh’s split was mutual and she would no longer be speaking out on it. Yet, she and Darrin have been flaunting their romance here, there, everywhere.

While Pumpkin and Darrin were enjoying their love bubble, Josh was allegedly dating a pregnant young woman named Keely Miller. As it turned out, Darrin was the father of Keely’s baby. It later came out that she and Josh were not dating but just close friends while Mama June claimed they were living together. No one is quite clear on their status but it is all too close for comfort.

Now, it appears that things are completely done between Josh and Keely but what went wrong? Darrin Kitchens’ ex-wife, Ariel, who is also very close to Keely, released a statement as to what transpired. It was then shared on Reddit:

  When Josh Efird and Lauryn ‘Pumpkin’ Efird split, fans were surprised. They seemed happy and had four beautiful children together. More so, they really helped balance one another out after nine years together and six years of marriage. The duo had been together through very hard times. These included Mama June’s addiction and taking in Alana ‘Honey Boo Boo’ Thompson to raise as one of their own. Then, in early 2023, Anna Cardwell was diagnosed with stage 4 adrenal carcinoma and that ripped the family apart. Josh was incredibly worried about Pumpkin and her mental health.

  

  Since Josh and Pumpkin split, it has gotten strange. He was allegedly dating a pregnant woman named Keely whereas Pumpkin started seeing Darrin Kitchens. Darrin happens to be Josh’s cousin and they may have been together before she split from Josh. More so, the affair could have caused the divorce. It then was revealed that Keely was having Darrin’s baby and she and Josh were just close friends. Now, Pumpkin and Darrin are traveling and flaunting their romance here, there, and everywhere but it appears Josh is not over it completely. He just reposted a heartbreaking TikTok.

  

  This was the first part of the reposted video and it was just devastating to watch. Fans have been asking about Josh Efird and how Mama June can allow Pumpkin to flaunt her new man. They have even been calling Pumpkin ‘June 2.0.’ The video ended with this sad message.

  

  Though Josh does not make any of his own videos, he does repost a lot and the last two have been heartbreaking. He really cares about his wife and his family and now, from his posts, it feels like that has been ripped from him.
