General Hospital spoilers tease that things aren’t looking good for Lulu Spencer (last played by Emme Rylan). Not only has she been comatose for the past three and a half years, but now her liver appears to be failing as well.
She will most likely need a transplant just to survive, even though that has nothing to do with the brain injury that put her in a coma in the first place.
But a recent casting call seems to indicate that Lulu will soon experience a miracle and will not only survive her current medical crisis, but will finally awaken as well.
General Hospital Spoilers – Lulu Spencer will be recast
When Lulu does return, she won’t be played by Rylan, according to the actress herself on her Instagram account. That means a new actress will be taking on the role once Lulu wakes up again.
Despite being recast, there will be a lot for Lulu to deal with once she finally is among the land of the living. Some things will be more pressing than others so let’s take a look.
GH Spoilers – Lulu Spencer has missed several years of her children’s lives
Lulu has missed out on some pivotal years of her children’s lives. While Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) is currently on the run with her father Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), she will surely want to come home if and when Lulu wakes up.
Meanwhile, Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) is living with his father Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zomprogna). Rocco sees his mother regularly and believes she can hear him when he talks to her. Once Lulu reunites with her children, it will be the best medicine she can get.
General Hospital Spoilers – Lulu Spencer still loves Dante Falconeri
Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) has been keeping a secret from Dante ever since Lulu fell into the coma. Lulu admitted she still loved Dante but she collapsed before she could tell him.
Maxie didn’t think it would do anyone any good if Dante knew the truth. He’s moved on with Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) now and the two of them have formed a happy family unit. But Lulu’s return could turn Dante’s life upside down and he will have to decide how he really feels about Lulu now.
GH Spoilers – Lulu Spencer will have words for Cyrus Renault
Although Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) is her uncle and may very well save her life if she needs a liver transplant, he’s still the reason Lulu was in a coma to begin with since he ordered to bomb at the Floating Rib that she was caught in.
She likely will have some choice words for him and when she finds out that Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) accidentally shot Charlotte earlier this year, she will be beside herself with anger.
And let’s not forget that Valentin allowed his daughter to go on the run with him even though he’s wanted by the FBI. There will be plenty of drama around Lulu’s return once she’s strong enough.
