Hot!! ‘Mama June’ Pumpkin Reveals When Show Is Back
It appears Pumpkin Efird has revealed when Mama June: Family Crisis will be returning for its next season. The last season was filled with heartbreak and trauma as Anna Cardwell said her final goodbyes and passed away. Yet, this season, anything can and will happen. So, when is it expected to appear on WeTV? Keep reading for what is currently known about the show.
Pumpkin Reveals When Mama June Is Coming Back
Last season of Mama June: Family Crisis, viewers followed along as Alana ‘Honey Boo Boo’ Thompson tried to get her money back from her mother. More so, she had to decide what to do about college and if she wanted to move to Colorado. It was not only expensive despite her scholarship but her sister, Anna Cardwell was sick. She had stage 4 adrenal carcinoma and her future was unknown. Alana and her boyfriend, Dralin Carswell did move but returned in early December 2023 when Anna was ready to pass.
That was heartbreaking for everyone and June soon embarked on a custody battle for Anna’s eldest, Kaitlyn. She went up against Anna’s ex-husband, Michael Cardwell, and eventually won. The victory took place post-season as did something else monumental. Pumpkin Efird and her husband of six years, Josh Efird called it quits. Some felt it was for publicity but they are now officially divorced and she is hot and heavy with his cousin, Darrin Kitchens. It had been revealed they were filming for another season and now, Pumpkin is sharing when the show will be back.
She was doing a live and someone asked her when the show was coming back. Pumpkin said that she heard from “a little birdie” that the show was not coming back until March or April. So, that means another five months at the least. However, it could be longer and that would make sense. This would allow the show to cover more of Josh and Pumpkin’s divorce plus custody arrangements, and to make it to Anna’s one-year of passing. So, what were the fan reactions when they learned this?
Cancel It
Mama June fans did not seem to care when the show was coming back. In fact, some were shocked the show was still on and had been renewed:
- People still watch that shit? After all the sh*t that’s been exposed? Wow ok
- I hope it gets dropped
- Thanks. I’ll be sure to miss it!
- Thanks, I hate it.
One follower noted they were done with the reality series after Anna’s passing was filmed. It seems the exploitation has become far too much for many. Yet, they may tune in to see exactly why Josh and Pumpkin fell apart.
