Jessica Shannon Engaged To Shyann McCant
When Jessica Shannon moved out of Pumpkin and Josh Efird’s home, she got her own place and had a female roommate. Eventually, it came out that her roommate was actually her girlfriend, Shyann McCant. Her sisters, Pumpkin Efird and Alana ‘Honey Boo Boo’ Thompson were shocked. More so, because Jessica did not tell them that she had a partner and was seeing someone. They went all out and took the couple to a drag show. Everyone, boys included, donned tie-dyed shirts and fully supported Jessica and Shyann which was really sweet. They have been together for over two years, becoming Instagram official on Memorial Day 2022.
About three months ago, Jessica shared that she would consider using Josh Efird’s sperm so she and Shyann could start a family. Mama June was shocked and almost repulsed by this idea. Yet, everyone seemed to know that Shyann was ready to settle down and get the ring. Unfortunately, Pumpkin and Josh have called it quits, filing for divorce in August so it is unlikely that he is a contender for Jessica and Shyann’s familial needs. Therefore, Jessica was still determined to make Shyann’s dreams come true which she shared on a TikTok video.
The two were on a boat when Jessica Shannon took the leap and asked Shyann to marry her. She said “yes” and it was clearly a very special moment. They appeared very happy together and more than that, the ring was beautiful. It looked like it was a bridal set so Jessica may be ready and raring to go down that aisle.

Hopefully, this is the start of a new and beautiful chapter. Congrats, Jessica and Shyann.
