MINUTES AGO! Lauryn ‘Pumpkin’ Efird is pleading for help in a desperate situation—what’s happening with her?
Fans have had enough of Lauryn ‘Pumpkin’ Efird begging for money. It seems that she is always hustling or asking fans for help with something. Though viewers love and respect all that she has done for her little sister, Honey Boo Boo, now they are putting their foot down. So, what did the mother of four do to infuriate them so? Read on for more details.
Fans Are Done With Lauryn ‘Pumpkin’ Efird ‘Begging’ For Cash
Lauryn ‘Pumpkin’ Efird is back begging for cash. This is not the first time that this has happened to the reality star so it would seem she would know better. However, that is not the case. Previously, she would put on a big hustle in her Instagram stories by promoting her meet and greets. Plus, she and her sister, Honey Boo Boo are on Cameo so they would remind fans constantly to book them for any occasion. Then, for her husband, Josh’s birthday last year, Pumpkin shared his CashApp which fans found very tacky.
Now, according to The Sun, Pumpkin has found a way to infuriate fans with her begging once again. She took to TikTok to ask for money for a van that she and her large family need. Apparently, she saw a trend where a user was able to get 4K for chicken sandwiches from Mcdonald’s. Therefore, Pumpkin got it into her head to try to use the same power of persuasion to get what she wanted. In the video, she wrote: “Y’all know that trend where that girl got 4k for McChickens? Well, if 750 of y’all sent $10, me and Josh could buy this minivan we need for our kids.”
Fans did not take kindly to this and had a bevy of responses to the video. “If they have the money to set aside to keep getting large tattoo pieces then they can find the ability to set aside money for a van,” one wrote. Over the past several months, Pumpkin has been showing off two large sleeve pieces that have been worked on. Someone else added: “They make this much from the show. First off, quit begging. Second, birth control. Third, you likely make this much from TikTok, to begin with.”
Hustling No More?
It appears that maybe the harsh criticism got to Lauryn ‘Pumpkin’ Efird as the video is seemingly gone from TikTok. However, it is interesting that she is choosing to use that medium for funds. Why? Because when she was strapped and did not have anything in her cupboards, she messaged her mother, Mama June. June’s response was to get on TikTok and make some money. Looks like she took her advice but it might be just a little too much.
Do you think that Pumpkin needs to stop begging fans for things? Will it eventually turn them off to her and her family completely? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
